The Marketing & Insights Manager will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and VP, Marketing in the research and generation of OOH insights. The role will support Client Services and Client Development teams with brief and pitch work as well as contributing to the completion of marketing content and go-to-market collateral. The candidate will be responsible for generating regular insights pulls as well as supporting all teams on key industry reports and trends.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the management and execution of OOH data and insights pulls, industry reports, and market trends that support key initiatives
  • Perform analysis of large data sets to develop custom insights on OOH formats and industry sectors – utilizing OOH industry and data resources such as Geopath, DPAA, OAAA, Kantar, Cuebiq, etc.
  • Regular analysis of research studies and subsequent reporting of findings to support Client Services and Client Development teams
  • Publish regular primary and secondary market research reports for internal and external use for the goal of educating and the development of revenue opportunities.
  • Act as a thought leader for market trends and insights by keeping up to date with latest data releases and communicating to the business
  • Contribute to the development and creation of marketing collateral that positions Talon America as a leading OOH services and solutions company

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of marketing and insights experience, preferably in the OOH industry; BA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate these skills into creative, marketable content and data stories
  • Understanding of different types of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

Talon's Finance department makes use of NetSuite to manage various aspects of Talon's business, from Purchasing and Invoicing for the media assets we trade in, to expenses. As NetSuite is a strategic platform for Talon we are looking for an individual to join our Product and Data team to manage and extend the NetSuite platform. The individual will work closely with our Finance department as well as the application support and software engineers in our Product and Data teams.

Responsibilities

  • Software testing, Deployment, Implementation, Business Requirement analysis and capture for the NetSuite platform.
  • Documentation of Requirements, Business Process and End User documentation.
  • Design of Business Process and application configuration for NetSuite based on industry best practices.
  • Prepare and execute test cases, including data setup, of the modules implemented and developed for NetSuite.
  • Managing mass data imports and exports.
  • Develop custom code using SuiteScripts to meet user requirements.
  • Customise NetSuite fields, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards.

About the role

Proving to clients that their campaigns have been posted, played-out and displayed correctly is an increasingly important element to our business. This role within the Hub team manages the process of ensuring that our client’s campaigns are displayed correctly, on time and to the highest quality. They provide support to the planning, investment, finance, and technical teams. They steward the production process and the inventory that is booked for our campaigns and flows through our systems. The team will increasingly lead the verification of campaign posting and play out reports for our campaigns, reconciling when discrepancies are found. Building relationships internally as well as with media owners and suppliers is essential for managing the end-to-end campaign process and addressing any issues that arise. The team are encouraged to contribute to always striving to make our internal processes as efficient as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Set up formation of any new Brands or Advertisers onto Netsuite, that derive from an existing financial entity.
  • Produce Production reports to be sent to agency / client with artwork deadlines.
  • Upload & check frame lists from media owners into Plato, work with media owners and internal teams if issues discovered.
  • When not received on time, chase media owners for upsites data.
  • Provide Posting Instructions to PC&Ds / media owners.
  • Providing design allocations details for classic and digital.
  • Co-ordinate printing with SMP or other printers.
  • Manage TfL artwork approval process.
  • Communicate to Planning, Investment and Finance teams if any problems with campaign preparation.

  • Communicate to Planning Teams if any problems with campaign.
  • Manage and analyse posting reports for classic frames. Where issues are spotted these should be raised and managed for a suitable outcome for the client.

  • Assist with managing the verification of digital play out reports and their report findings.
  • Flag and manage if any processes are not being adhered to ensure Talon excels at campaign delivery.
  • Inventory management – checking Space is correct.
  • Managing non-Space inventory in Plato & Atlas.
  • Manage Talon blacklisted sites.
  • Monitor inventory in Space and non-Space inventory ingested into Plato to ensure it is up to date and correct.

Talon has a great opportunity for a confident and proactive Analyst to join our growing Product and Data team. This team sit on a vast amount of first- and third-party data which could unlock a wealth of insights to make our business more efficient and generate additional income. This role will make an important contribution to supporting the team’s mission to deliver data-driven solutions for our clients but also make the business more effective in achieving its Global objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically analyse the wealth of data available to Talon to create new insights for the business, create efficiencies and help to streamline internal processes. This data includes (but is not limited to): SDK location and Point of Interest data housed within our DMP, Ada o Route data (the OOH industry measurement model) Campaign measurement data Booking and revenue data Partner data housed within Plato, our automated planning and buying system
  • Be curious and opportunistic with our data to uncover new applications for it internally and externally
  • Produce analysis from campaign data and contribute towards creating insights which helps to solve audience targeting and campaign planning challenges which help to generate revenue
  • Use data visualisation software & techniques to explain and showcase analysis and make analysis-based recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Accurately analyse historical buying and campaign data to identify trends which can be applied to future planning
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry reports and data regulations and help the team to make informed business decisions about any opportunities or challenges in this space
  • Evaluate the reliability and accuracy of data supplied by third party partners
  • Train more junior members of the team in using relevant data analytics tools and software
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with internal teams & external partners
  • Producing ad hoc reports and analysis and contribute to other tasks as required
  • Developing a thorough understanding of Talon’s proprietary technology stack

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, love to help and is naturally solution and resolution focused
  • The ability to manipulate data, reporting and API tools such as Power BI, Tableau,Business Objects, Postman, Cognos or similar
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and pro-active
  • Significant demonstrable experience in BI, Analytics, Data Science or comparable fields, ideally within the media industry
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving team delivering solutions for clients or business partners
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SQL or AWS/Athena and/or experience in using other codinglanguages is a bonus
