Being the gatekeeper and servicing their clients through implementational planning, being client facing and working with relevant teams to deliver the best possible outcome for their clients. Managing workloads, understanding and communicating Talon initiatives, having good industry knowledge, working across relevant client accounts and supporting the team are all key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Leading on the servicing of a portfolio of clients across a range of agencies
  • Managing campaigns from start to finish, including planning, buying & delivery
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the client team to ensure they are effectively servicing clients and are proactively contributing to growing client and agency business
  • Have a thorough understanding of the strategy and objectives of your main accounts and use this knowledge to add value
  • Take the lead on resolving client/campaign issues as and when they arise alongside assisting/coaching your team in resolving their issues
  • Develop and manage the Talon relationship with agency, client and media owner contacts
  • Work with the Business Director to set individual client KPIs and ensure they are met
  • Ensure you and the team are utilising in-house systems on a regular basis ensuring they are kept up to date with all the latest planning information and campaign status
  • Work with the Business Director to provide accurate client forecasts ensuring they are kept up to date with key changes to forecasted business.

Skills & Experience

  • UK OOH planning experience and/or extensive Comms planning experience – working on clients that spend significantly in OOH and experience of working in data focussed roles
  • First class relationship management skills with the ability to communicate across all levels both internally and externally
  • Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to apply this within your work

Investment Executive

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Planning & Investment Team in negotiation and delivery of approved campaigns. Assist in the administration/activation of campaign delivery across the team.
  • Contribute to the development of internal documentation & software to supply Planning Team with pricing and availability in a relevant, consistent, efficient and accurate manner.
  • Alongside the team lead, implement key client strategies across campaigns.
  • With the Investment Directors and Planning Team – deliver relevant KPI requirements and measurement guarantees.
  • With direction from the Team Lead, manage delivery of campaigns to ensure that they sit within the PRF target parameters.
  • Alongside the team lead, assist in the delivery of Productivity targets.
  • For any campaigns that are bought with an audit target (PRF or Productivity), ensure that the data is accurate when being booked onto Plato and also ensure that it is correct before it goes to any external auditor. Begin to understand the audit process.
  • Support the Team Lead in delivery and tracking of Agency, Client and Media Owner value initiatives across the designated area of the business.
  • Have a data led approach to delivery of campaigns/objectives.
  • Comprehensively understand the media owners, their business and be an internal brand ambassador.
  • Develop strong relationships with key media owner contacts. Be part of the Media Owner Champions Programme across our MO partners, to enable joint commercial success and delivering best in class service for our clients and agencies.
  • Begin to form a long-term overview of format, environments and media owners and be innovative in approach.
  • Provide expertise for the assigned business area, externally & internally communicating any relevant changes in the marketplace.

  • Take the minutes in the Investment team meeting and co-ordinate Media Owner slots within this.
  • Be responsible for the weekly campaign tracker - diarise and chase SAB/upgrades and value for relevant Talon campaigns.
  • Have a thorough understanding and utilise all tools and systems, e.g. Plato, Route, etc.
  • Input into the post campaign analysis process across the department working closely with each member of the team to deliver all relevant detail on time.
  • Assist in the day-to-day implementation of our clients barter requirements.

  • Attend internal/external site tours where relevant.

Insight Executive

The role of the Insight Executive is to work closely with the Head of Insight in the execution of research and insight programmes at Talon. To support planning teams with brief and pitch work as well as co-ordinating campaign effectiveness. The role is responsible for generating regular reporting and keeping the planning teams up to date on key industry reports and trends.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage campaign effectiveness- understanding and interpreting clients KPIS, project management, analysis and reporting of data and client debriefs
  • Creating benchmarks from data bank to inform OOH planning – analysis of large data sets to understand which OOH formats are shifting which brand metrics
  • Regular analysis of syndicated research studies and reporting findings to the business – such as GWI to support briefs and planning teams
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and communicating to the business

Digital Services Campaign Executive

We are looking for a Digital Services Campaign Executive to join our small team, focused on helping clients and creative agencies to deliver creative that's specific to the needs of digital Out of Home. Due to the ever-growing number of screens, media owners and ways to use digital Out of Home, it's important that the creative fits to specifications and meets industry guidelines within deadlines - ensuring that campaigns are timely and look as good as possible.

About the role

We are looking to expand our Campaign Management team with a Campaign Executive who will work across our three products; SitePick, FileDrive and PlayTrack. With these products, we deliver campaigns for clients including Disney, Nike, Google, McDonald's, ITV, Amazon, Audi, Ford and Pepsico to name a few. The primary function of this role is to manage the quality assurance and distribution of creative files, as well as general campaign management for the digital Out-of-Home market.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with media agencies, media owners and creative agencies.
  • Understanding the digital OOH industry and what is possible for clients to achieve across different formats and with various media owners.
  • Aiding creative agencies and media planners on the functionality and use of the delivery and reporting platforms.
  • Receive and distribute campaign details including creative and technical specification, media compliance to all relevant parties.
  • Liaise with creative agencies and media owners on amounts of content, scheduling and deadlines.
  • Configuration of campaigns on FileDrive & PlayTrack platforms including any internal tracking requirements.
  • Confirm that campaigns have been scheduled as planned with relevant parties.
  • Day-to-day running of web based services for campaign booking information, content trafficking and campaign support.
  • Checking and testing that all content meets specific media owner specifications and meets the expected behaviour as defined within the project's scope of work.
  • Editing and adapting content in house where possible.
  • Guide creative agencies on amending content in order to meet project and campaign specifications.
  • Checking and analysing media plans against internal records to assure they are accurate.
  • Facilitating and supporting changes to live campaign content as and when needed.
  • Providing post campaign analysis as and when needed.
  • Confirm costs and budgets with clients, agencies and partners.
  • Keep up to date and accurate records of campaign content volumes as the campaign progresses and managing purchase orders.
  • Keep SitePick up to date and maintained with new formats and users.
  • Discuss and offer ideas for future product and service features with development team.
  • Assist with product and service user acceptance testing and bug reporting.

Skills & Experience

  • Planning & Organising: Keeping all relevant parties up to date with the status of upcoming and live campaigns. As well as managing and updating all internal administrative documentation. Prioritisation of tasks when faced with tight deadlines which involves understanding media owner time constraints and flexibility.
  • Communication: The ability to clearly and concisely communicate to creative agencies and media owners is imperative to this role to ensure campaigns are scheduled as instructed, interpreting the clients needs and rationalising this to external parties.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all files that we check and traffic are 100% correct. Maintaining this eye for detail across hundreds of files with variable specifications across many concurrent campaigns is essential.
  • Decision Making: Analyse reports of clients and media agencies spend to inform potential negotiation over future campaign costs.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Foresight and planning ability with efficient time management and the ability to prioritise.

Media planners

You will work with media planners to confirm what has been booked and confirm that the content has been delivered.

Media owners

The media owners will be who you deliver content to and assist with troubleshooting to get things working.

Creative agencies

A creative agency producer will provide you with all the files you need to deliver the campaign to all the media owners, you will be working with them to advise if they are on or off spec.
