Must be able to prioritise workloads and work to strict deadlines but most of all be keen to learn and contribute to a team. Responsibilities

  • Supporting the servicing of a portfolio of clients across a range of clients and independent agencies.
  • Working with the rest of the team to help manage the running of our clients’ accounts and delivering a first class level of client/customer service.
  • Bringing together information to enable a smooth operation.
  • Managing campaigns from start to finish, including planning, buying and delivery.
  • Assisting with the design, delivery and implementation of a campaign to fulfil the client’s brief.
  • Dealing directly with clients and media owners.
  • Attending meetings with clients and media owners.
  • Liaising with media owners/ suppliers to book campaigns and be self-starting to gain a full insight and knowledge of their media portfolios.
  • Forging strong relationship especially with contacts that you deal with on a daily basis.
  • Ability to think creatively as we offer innovative communications solutions to our clients briefs.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous OOH media planning experience would be desirable or experience in dealing with clients and media owners.
  • Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, as you will be managing large pieces of data and information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Application Support Engineer (x2)

Talon has an exciting opportunity for two stand-out individuals to join our Tech Team as an Application Support Engineer. This role involves providing technical and functional support to an evolving application stack at Talon Outdoor, working closely with Business and technical teams to identify the areas for improvement and driving out inefficiency in the process

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st/2nd line application support to local and overseas users on the core business systems.
  • Act as bridge between business developers to collect requirement build solutions for the business problems.
  • Be actively involved in design, build and maintenance of applications hosted on premise and Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain automation for the operation of new and existing applications.
  • Identify opportunities to further streamline the Continuous Delivery capability, bringing improvements from concept to implementation.
  • Follow and create documented processes and procedures for carrying out application support.
  • Liaise with onsite/offshore teams to remove impediments and diagnose/prevent incidents.
  • Pro-actively monitoring and troubleshooting the applications and ensuring any necessary action is taken to maintain a good service.
  • Coach and support other team members/interns as and when required.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Application support role or similar technical role.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Experience and ability to deep dive in to DevOps toolkit in production with AWS, Terraform, Docker.
  • Experience working in Media domain (desirable).
  • Good understand of APIs and microservices (desirable).
  • Experience working with Java and MongoDB technologies (desirable).
  • Good experience of continuous integration/delivery, code management, code workflow and performance scanning tools.
  • Good knowledge of Linux & Windows platform management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting or object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with SQL scripting and database servers like SQL Server and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with security practices in internet based application delivery.
  • Experience with configuration management, automation and orchestration tools.
  • A keen desire to learn & continuously develop your technical skills.

International Client Manager

Talon has an exciting opportunity for an International Client Manager to join our Plexus team. Plexus is Talon Outdoor's Global OOH Network, created in response to the changing OOH landscape affecting cities, populations and digital environments. The network’s central planning team is based in London as a centre of OOH excellence. Plexus transfer Talon’s Smarter as Standard philosophy to a global level, reflecting international clients’ increasing expectation for smarter Out of Home solutions across different environments around the world.

Responsibilities

  • To demonstrate a good knowledge of the International OOH media landscape
  • To understand international markets key challenges and best practices
  • To develop strong relationships main OOH media owners in the EMEA region. Additional market relationships are preferable
  • To be familiar with the strategy & objectives of your main accounts
  • To pro-actively contribute to growing the client & agency business
  • To understand the commercial requirements of the business and work with the Client Director and Business Director to maximise efficiency
  • To take responsibility of coordinating your campaigns from start to finish
  • To utilise in-house systems regularly, ensuring they are kept up to date with the latest planning information and campaign status
  • To manage the relationship and communication across your account portfolio so all relevant team members are kept abreast of all developments
  • To establish a regular dialogue with relevant agency personnel and develop strong relationships
  • Contribute to the training and development of executives within your team and the wider company and look at new ways of servicing the needs of clients and agencies within the portfolio
  • The Business and Client Director will delegate tasks directly to you. You are able to delegate these tasks to exec’s (if within their capabilities) but, must ensure that expectations are met by your Business and Client Director and work - loads / development is monitored by yourself
  • To support your Business and Client Directors in key client reports and weekly figure updates if required
  • Endeavour to pro-actively grow and develop clients’ business
  • To prepare post campaign analysis and present quarterly updates and new insights
  • To develop and grow industry knowledge through attendance of training programmes
  • To have a thorough understanding and utilise all tools and systems, e.g. TGI, Touchpoints ¾ & Route and ensure the Executive is utilising tools and help to train them where applicable
  • To ensure all Talon insight is read and incorporated into planning process where applicable
  • To ensure all Planning templates are being used - Talon planning schematic, proposals, buying reviews/PCAs, site tour documents
  • To understand Talon philosophy and SBU's offerings and communicate them appropriately

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in working in a Client Manager role
  • Relevant experience working on multi market campaigns across multiple environments
  • Experience of building strong relationships with clients
  • Microsoft office skills
