Talon has a superb opportunity for an outstanding individual with previousUK Out Of Home planning experience or Comms experience to join our business working within one of our growing teams on key clients.The successful candidate will have experience of operating at Account Manager level and will have an opportunity to operate across a wide range of business.

Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with the strategy and objectives of your main accounts
  • To pro-actively contribute to growing the client and agency business
  • Take responsibility of coordinating your campaigns from start to finish
  • Utilise in house systems on a regular basis ensuring they are kept up to date with all the latest planning information and campaign status
  • Manage the relationship and communication across your account portfolio so all relevant team members are kept abreast of all developments
  • To establish a regular dialogue with relevant agency personnel and develop strong relationships
  • Develop strong relationships with key media owner contacts
  • Contribute to the training and development of Executives within your team and the wider company and look at new ways of servicing the needs of clients and agencies within the portfolio
  • The Business and Client Directors will delegate tasks directly to you. You are able to delegate these tasks to Executives (if within their capabilities) but, must ensure that expectations are met by your Business and Client Directors and work -loads / development is monitored by yourself
  • Support your Business and Client Directors in key client reports and weekly figure updates if required
  • Endeavour to pro-actively grow and develop clients’ business
  • Prepare post campaign analysis and present quarterly updates and new insights
  • Develop and grow industry knowledge through attendance of internal and external training programmes
  • Have a thorough understanding and utilise all tools and systems, e.g. TGI, Touchpoints ¾ & Route.Ensure Executives are utilising tools and help to train them where applicable
  • Ensure all Talon insight is read and incorporated into planning process where applicable
  • Ensure all planning templates are being used -Talon planning schematic, proposals, buying reviews/PCAs, site tour documents
  • Understand Talon philosophy and SBU's offerings and communicate them appropriately

Skills & Experience

  • UK OOH planning experience and/or extensive Comms experience –working on clients that spend significantly in OOH
  • First class relationship management skills with the ability to communicate across all levels both internally and externally
  • Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to apply this within your work
  • Ability to manage people and motivate them to bring out their full potential

The successful candidate will need substantial management and leadership experience. Experience in data focussed roles will also be beneficial. Responsibilities

  • Leading on the servicing of a portfolio of clients across a range of agencies
  • Managing campaigns from start to finish, including planning, buying & delivery
  • Take responsibility for the day to day management of the client team to ensure they are effectively servicing clients and are proactively contributing to growing client and agency business
  • Have a thorough understanding of the strategy and objectives of your main accounts and use this knowledge to add value
  • Take the lead on resolving client/campaign issues as and when they arise alongside assisting/coaching your team in resolving their issues

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for Reception; greet visitors in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, offer and make them drinks, take messages, transfer calls, etc
  • Become familiar with regular and important visitors and keep a track of visitor schedule to have prior knowledge of who is coming in to provide a warm and friendly stand-out experience on arrival
  • Work with the Kitchen Porters to ensure catering/refreshments set-up and this outside of their working hours
  • Order, monitor & unpack weekly shop (food/drink); order catering, as requested
  • Order and monitor coffee & water machine supplies
  • Handle business correspondence/post collection/distribution/couriers, franking & shredding
  • Manage and distribute oyster cards for travel
  • Assist in organising and setting up presentations, including Media Owner presentations
  • Assist in purchasing and distributing office gifts, cards, vouchers etc.
  • Assist in organising site tours and team events, as and when needed
  • Assist teams with scanning, copying and binding
  • Assist Office Manager in their duties and pick up tasks in their absence

Working three days a week, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of office management and overseeing the smooth running of operations for our UK teams. The successful candidates will have gravitas, a positive attitude and a helpful disposition while commanding respect as well as be proactive and able to manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for any office issues and in charge of office maintenance, ensuring that the office(s) is run professionally and all in working order.
  • Support receptionist in meeting room and presentation area booking coordination, including resolving scheduling conflicts
  • Maintain the condition of the office in conjunction with the Building Manager and arranging for necessary repairs
  • Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems and equipment procurement
  • Manage or assist with office-related projects such as social events
  • Support the People team by managing the People walls, setting up new starters ensuring they have IT equipment, stationery, etc and helping to manage the leavers process where applicable
  • Conduct Office orientation and Health & Safety inductions for new joiners
  • Order and monitor Security, Health & Safety and office equipment
  • Support the media owner champions by managing the media owner wall calendar, organising the media owners presentations and the media owners site tours
  • Take photos of internal and external events (e.g. super huddles), key presentations, and general day-to-day shots of the office/people working etc. to go on to our website
  • Submit monthly petty cash to Finance and manage office budget; making sure we are cost efficient with all external suppliers and are within budget each quarter

  • Preparation and submission of VAT Returns and Corporation Tax computations.
  • Ownership of payroll and related fees, working closely with HR to ensure payments are accurate.
  • Ownership of the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Assist with the year-end external audit process and preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts as required.
  • Assist Group Finance Manager with the integration of newly acquired companies.
  • Creation and implementation of processes to improve control framework around the finance system.
  • Other duties as required by the Group Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all ledger teams to ensure they are working efficient and effectively.
  • Supervise AP/AR transactions are performed in line with the company policies and specific country or regional requirements.
  • Full accountability for rebates calculations and reconciliations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and customers such as sending follow-up enquiries.
  • Deal with all AP/AR queries and liaise with all relevant internal departments to ensure queries are responded to promptly.
  • Attend monthly meetings with Planning and Investment teams to raise any finance issues and update determent heads regarding Debtors by client.
  • Manage all internal and external audit queries as they arise.
  • Support implementation of international business processes (NYC and San Diego Office).
  • Other ad hoc duties relating to the AR & AP ledgers.
